ABOUT READY! for Kindergarten:
READY! for Kindergarten is a national, research-based early childhood literacy education program for parents, grandparents and other primary caregivers of infants, toddlers and pre-school children (birth to age 5, before kindergarten).
READY! workshops and parent “tool kits” are free for all participants because the program is funded locally by the Panhandle Alliance for Education (www.panhandlealliance.org). A non-profit 501 (c)3 organization, Panhandle Alliance for Education’s mission is to promote excellence in local education and broad-based community support for the Lake Pend Oreille School District through annual teacher grants and strategic educational programs.
Please note that even if you’ve attended previous READY! workshops, you must pre-register for each workshop; you are not automatically registered.
